What is Centrifuge Blanketing System ? A system which provides continuous Inertization (Blanketing & Purging) for the safe operation of Centrifuges. Where & Why it is Used? In Pharmaceutical Application, Centrifuge is used for processing various types of Solvents with High Rotating Speeds for the Separation process. Due to high speed, bearing housing may develop spark, hence to avoid any kind of fire/explosion it is essential to purge the centrifuge with Nitrogen before start-up. Similarly when the centrifuge is in operation continuous nitrogen blanketing is recommended for centrifuge basket as well as the bearing housing. The centrifuge inertizing skid is designed with incorporating proper interlocks to ensure the safety of the Operator & maintain the Quality of the product being processed.
